Killarney, Ontario is a town located on the northern shore of Georgian Bay in the Sudbury District. These are normally associated using Killarney Provincial Park, which is a big woods park placed to the east of the town.

Although a community of Killarney is quite little (its people in the 2001 census was just 739) & set right the shore of Georgian Bay, within 1999 the Ontario provincial government expanded the boundaries of the municipality of Killarney to include the geographic town of Hansen, Goschen, Sale, Attlee, Kilpatrick, Travers, Struthers, Allen and Bigwood in the District of Sudbury; Killarney and part of Carlyle in Manitoulin District and the northern a portion of Henvey in Parry Sound. A municipality was as well transferred from either a Manitoulin District to the Sudbury District at that period.

A big municipality of Killarney currently encompasses most of Killarney Provincial Park & a French River delta, and in point of fact extends all the way to Highway 69, over Lxx kilometres from a townsite.
